I like the idea. I'll admit when I first started playing L4D i was like: "This can't be a finished game!"

Then when I played longer I realised it "could" stand on it's own. Also I applaud the sequel, I'm ready for a fresh cast.

And finally.... I don't think Coach will be as easy a target as Lewis was.

I wonder if you'll say the same thing about l4d3...

Probably yes, it's like another chapter of this epidemic, and new areas to play in makes it even better.

I see people's points in: "But why didn't they just make these changes to the existing game instead of making a new one?!"

My theory is that the developers felt that all these features could stand and make up their own game like the first did.

I conqure, but when the developers dileberitly do this to squeze $60 out of you, it's stupid.

And how long can they milk 4 surviviors fighting zombies? I understand so few people survived, but it'll feel like the same game because it is. Unless they drastlicly change the game with things like drivable cars, flying zombies, and unlockables instead of dlc. And Valve of all companys know gamers shouldn't be screwed over. And by L4D5, you'll be bored of it.

I never seem to have the "bored" problem when I'm getting ripped to pieces by the horde only 5 feet from the safehouse.

The human element, (for error, luck, skill, and even WTF moments), keeps the game fun, providing you find the right people to play with.

And take a look at HL2, you play as one man. The only thing that changes during the course of the game is the story.

Final Fantasy, they keep each one new and fresh by building off a previous battle system, or close to it, and introducing new characters, places, and enemies.

But if your biggest problem with it is the price, I'd suggest you wait until it comes down in price or until they begin to release addons for the first L4D.

Anybody played Resident Evil Outbreak games? Thats exactly how the unlockables should be.
