not able to authenticate user with steam

I get this error, alot. I have afew ways to fix it but sometimes it doesnt even work.
Removing my ClientRegistry.Blob or verify the integrity of your game cache. Any other ideas of how to fix it? :bounce:

i havent heard of this either maybe google is your answer or maybe post a question on Yahoo answers.

I googled it before, I know how so solve the fix it, but I still get it everytime I start up L4D. Kinda pissing me off

OK here Try this Reinstall L4D if that dont work Uninstall Steam and then install L4D might help.

Nope also didnt work. I tried to reinstall L4D but not to reinstall Steam, Ill try that.

Ok Try That Because my L4D used to F*** up and i had to reinstall Steam alot soo yhe it helped so try that also whats your steam?

It DOES work after I verified the integrity of the game cache, but it's annoying, it takes up to 5 min. And when a friend invites you to a game, I have to wait for it
